What do you like most?
The listings management of Otamiser increases significantly the number of reservations we receive through booking.com. This on both short and long term notice. From the moment Otamiser started to act, we saw an immediate increase in the number of reservations. Next to the number of reservations, they also establish a higher price rate. This effect is smaller than expected, but there is a clear effect. To conclude, generally, Otamiser realizes what they promise to do. Also, they are open on which other hotels in our neighbourhood collaborate with them AND they do not accept just any hotel. Also they state clearly that they take a limited number of clients in each city.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Their communication can be clearer. They always stick to 'we know how booking.com works and we found an algorithem to optimise this', but they never explain. I am not interested in the details on what exactly they do (and I would probably not completely understand as it would be too technical), but it would be nice to have an understandable explanation on what they do. Also, they do not have a lot of companies who stand for them based on numbers. The references they gave before starting the collaboration all mentioned that they were positive, but at the same time, none of them could give numbers. We decided to give it a try for 6 months and make our own evaluation afterwards. We did that now and we can confirm based on our numbers that they actually realise what they promise (however a little bit less than promised, but eitherway enough difference to continu). It is a pity that this clarity cannot be given. I think this clarity of numbers would convince more companies to start collaborating with them.
