What do you like most?
The way eviivo works for us is vey simple but achieves what would be complex tasks. Excellent for all channel s and good reporting. It is easy to add a booking and modify existing bookings. The phone app is a really useful tool meaning you can see what is going on within the business at any time, where ever you are. So if a guest calls you up while you are out and about you can see their booking details on your phone and make any changes that they want with out having to be at your desk. The virtual concierge chat bot is a great addition to the provided website. This reduces the questions that guests ask and allows you to monitor what questions guests are asking before they book and in turn allows you to amend the details on the website to answer questions before they are asked. It is great to be able to see what is going on in one simple screen. The desktop reporting is also very useful with the key figures screen showing all you need to know at a glance with easily adjusted parameters to make simple comparisons between units or over different dates. I'm always checking to see how the month is performing and this screen will give me an easy over view of the bookings. Showing the percentage of occupancy, ADR and turnover and where those booking are coming from as to whether they are direct or online through OTAs. Its like the team of employees that I don't have to pay NI for!!
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The only thing I feel could be improved would be the online marketing tools for the website. It would be great if there was a system for collecting email addresses from potential guests so one could focus marketing emails to these people. It would also be useful if one could give out individual discount codes to encourage browsing guests to book or even a code that could be given to returning guests to encourage rebooking. This would help with gathering more direct bookings. At the end of the day, Direct bookings are the holy grail of the independent accommodation provider.
