What do you like most?
We're an 8-room Hotel in a mountain destination and we recently started using RMS Lite by Hotellab. Even in this short time we've noticed a real difference in how we set our prices. The feature we value most is the rate shopper with LOS2. In mountain destinations almost everyone works with a 2-night minimum stay, especially on weekends and in high season, so checking single-night rates doesn't tell us much. With LOS2 we see what competitors actually charge for a typical stay. We can also compare ourselves with guesthouses in other mountain destinations that compete for the same guests, not just our own destination. The system is easy to understand and quick to set up with hotel availabilities channel manager.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Honestly, nothing major so far. We're completely new to revenue management tools, and everything feels simple and intuitive. As we gain more experience, we'll probably have more specific feedback. For now, it does exactly what a small property like ours needs.
