A user-friendly access solution: Lamington is an outlier as our apartments spread over several streets in west London (as opposed to being housed in one central building), we needed a solution where guests could get right into their room without reporting into a front desk.
Saving our guests additional: Previously, we would cut up to 20 additional keys per week to guests for those who had misplaced them. We did charge for this service due to the additional administrative work at all hours, which in turn caused some negative sentiments across the board.
Having multiple staff gain: We used to have a few manual keys for staff per apartment, but at times different departments such as housekeeping and maintenance may have needed access at varying times. With only one spare staff key per apartment, this often meant staff were chasing each other down for the individual keys

Giving guests the freedom to enter their apartments without seeing staff has seen efficiencies increase exponentially, and make our guests feel more like residents of our apartments rather than hotel guests.
Now, guests directly receive a PIN to their mobile device to gain access, which can be adjusted to a more memorable code if required. It’s that straight forward.
Our employees can now use their own mobile device to enter rooms, with access being time controlled/restricted depending on their role within the organisation.
