Hoteza and Shiji Daylight PMS Eliminate Manual Front-Desk Work Through New Two-Way Integration

Hotels can now synchronize reservations, guest profiles, messaging, and folio data between both platforms.

Hoteza has launched a two-way integration with Shiji Daylight PMS designed to reduce manual work across hotel operations and improve the flow of information between guest-facing services and property management.

Hotel teams often work across multiple systems throughout the day. Reservation data lives in the PMS, guest communication occurs elsewhere, and service requests flow through separate channels. Keeping information aligned can require significant administrative effort, particularly during high-occupancy periods, when front-desk staff have the least time to manage repetitive data entry.

The new integration enables Hoteza and Daylight PMS to exchange information automatically, helping hotel teams work from a single set of guest data throughout the stay, from the moment a reservation is confirmed through check-out and beyond.

Hotels using the integration can invite guests to complete online check-in before arrival. Travelers can upload identification documents, provide registration details, and complete required forms through Hoteza. The platform then transfers that information directly to Daylight PMS, eliminating the need to collect and re-enter the same data at reception. This reduces the amount of time guests spend waiting in line and gives front-desk staff more time to focus on service rather than paperwork.

The integration also synchronizes reservation updates, room changes, guest profiles, folio information, and communication history, so that any change made in one system is reflected in the other. This keeps every department working from the same, up-to-date guest record instead of relying on manual updates passed between teams throughout the day.

Guests can review charges during their stay, while hotel teams maintain visibility across departments without switching between multiple systems. This shared visibility can help hotels catch billing questions earlier and resolve them before check-out, rather than during a rushed departure.

Beyond operational improvements, the integration helps hotels create a more connected experience across the entire stay. Front-desk teams spend less time processing paperwork, service teams receive information faster, and guests gain easier access to hotel services through the channels they already use, whether that's a mobile app, an in-room tablet, or the in-room TV.

The integration is available as part of the Hoteza Guest Journey Platform, which combines Online Check-In, Mobile and Web Guest App, Digital Reception, In-Room TV, Casting, Tablets, Digital Signage, and High-Speed Internet Access within a single platform, giving hotels one system to manage the guest-facing side of the stay alongside Daylight PMS on the operational side.

Today, Hoteza serves more than 1,000 hotels across 90+ countries and maintains over 200 integrations with hospitality technology providers worldwide, connecting its Guest Journey Platform to the systems hotels already rely on to run daily operations.
