MeetingPackage Expands Partnership with Cvent to Power Fully Automated Group Proposal Creation for Hotels
MeetingPackage aligns development with Cvent’s next-generation APIs to enable hotels to manage and automate group quotations directly from MeetingPackage — with full proposal creation launching ahead of Cvent CONNECT US.
MeetingPackage, the leading centralized sales and reservations management platform for group, meetings, and event bookings, today announced a major expansion of its integration capabilities with Cvent. By aligning product development with Cvent’s newly announced APIs, MeetingPackage will soon enable hotels to create, manage, automate, and synchronize full group booking proposals directly from the MeetingPackage platform — eliminating the need for hotel teams to manually manage proposal workflows inside multiple systems.
The new capabilities build on the already successful collaboration between MeetingPackage and Cvent, where more than 200 hotels are already live using MeetingPackage to automate inbound Cvent RFP workflows. The companies expect more than 2,000 hotels to be connected through the integration ecosystem by the end of the year.
Bringing Automation to the Entire Group Sales Journey
MeetingPackage currently powers advanced RFP automation that enhances Cvent proposals into hotel-specific offers by automatically matching real inventory, room types, meeting products, packages, and services — without requiring hotel teams to manually verify availability or map products one by one.
With the next phase of the integration, hotels will be able to:
Create and manage complete group proposals directly from MeetingPackage
Automate proposal generation based on business rules and availability
Review and approve AI-assisted and automated quotation workflows before synchronizing to Cvent
Eliminate duplicate manual work across sales systems
Deliver faster response times and more accurate quotations to planners
The first phase of the enhanced proposal creation capabilities — focused on group bookings without M&E requirements — is scheduled to launch ahead of Cvent’s marquee industry and customer conference, Cvent CONNECT, July 13-16. Expanded functionality supporting full M&E proposal workflows is planned before the end of 2026.
“This is a major step toward fully connected and automated group sales operations for hotels,” said Joonas Ahola, Founder and CEO of MeetingPackage. “Hotels should not have to verify availability across disconnected systems, or spend valuable sales time managing repetitive operational work. Together with Cvent’s new API capabilities, we’re helping hotels automate the entire quotation journey while still maintaining full control over approvals, workflows, and customer experience.”
Building the Centralized Commercial Platform for Hospitality
The expanded Cvent capabilities are part of MeetingPackage’s broader vision to centralize and automate all group, meetings, and event sales operations within a single commercial platform.
Rather than functioning as a standalone RFP automation layer, MeetingPackage is building an end-to-end sales and commerce ecosystem that enables hotels to manage inquiries, quotations, inventory, workflows, automation, digital sales channels, and commercial operations across every stage of the customer journey.
MeetingPackage already enables hotels and hotel groups to centralize and automate commercial operations across group, meetings, and event sales workflows.
Today, the platform already supports:
AI-powered and agentic automation for responding to inbound inquiries and emails
Automated quotation generation and approval workflows
Group and Meetings & Events booking engines
A Channel Manager enabling direct connectivity to leading marketplaces and demand channels
On-property and above-property commercial management workflows
Centralized sales operations across brands, regions, and portfolios
Digital transformation of traditional manual sales channels into connected quotation and booking workflows
Hotels using the full MeetingPackage commercial platform today see an average lead conversion rate between 60–70% across won versus lost quotations, demonstrating the impact of automation, centralized operations, and faster response times on commercial performance.
The platform connects directly with both PMS and Sales & Catering ecosystems depending on the operational setup of each hotel or hotel group. MeetingPackage currently integrates with systems including Oracle Opera, Mews, Event Temple, iVvy, Backyou, and Thynk, with plans to add an additional two to four hospitality systems before the end of the year.
These integrations allow hotels to synchronize inventory, availability, quotation workflows, and commercial operations in real time while maintaining flexibility across different operational environments.
Supporting Global Hotel Brands
The MeetingPackage platform and Cvent integration capabilities are already being used by leading global hotel groups and operators, including brands such as Sonesta, Premier Inn, and Accor.
As hotel companies continue investing in automation, centralized sales operations, and AI-driven commercial workflows, the expanded MeetingPackage and Cvent collaboration provides hotels with a scalable way to accelerate response times, increase proposal accuracy, and reduce operational overhead.
