What do you like most?
Mews is a comprehensive and intuitive PMS with strong automation capabilities and a constantly evolving ecosystem. Its all-in-one approach is particularly valuable for hotels looking to simplify their tech stack, while its extensive marketplace of integrations offers plenty of options for those working with specialized providers. Configuration is straightforward, and the Help Center documentation is excellent. I also value the hands-on onboarding approach. Although it requires time and involvement from hotel teams, it helps build a deeper understanding of the system and greater operational independence. For hotel groups, the ability to copy configurations from existing properties when opening new hotels is a major advantage, saving significant implementation time and helping maintain consistent operational standards.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
While Mews Payments offers great automation, its fees can be higher than those of local banks. Greater flexibility to integrate external payment gateways and booking engines would be valuable, as Mews Booking Engine may not suit every hotel. Ideally, external payments should flow automatically into the PMS to maintain automated invoicing without depending on the entire Mews ecosystem. More flexibility in scheduling automated email templates would also be valuable, allowing hotels to better adapt communications to their operational needs and guest journey. Finally, Mews POS could benefit from more advanced inventory and recipe management capabilities, as well as more comprehensive documentation and support.
