What do you like most?
Before switching to Roommaster, we managed our room inventory using a simple, self-made shared Excel sheet. Compared to that system, Room Master has been a game-changer. It offers a wide range of functions that have greatly improved our workflow. I especially appreciate its ability to automatically generate various reports, accept bookings directly from third-party platforms, and integrate reservations made through our own website. The new Ampliphi feature is also incredibly useful—it provides pricing suggestions based on competitor rates, helping us stay competitive. Overall, Room Master has simplified many aspects of our daily operations and made hotel management much more efficient. Another significant advantage is the centralized nature of the system. Moving from our disjointed Excel sheet to Room Master has eliminated countless hours of manual data entry and synchronization. Having all our reservations, guest information, and financial data in one secure, unified platform has drastically reduced errors and given us a single source of truth for the entire business. This integration alone has made our daily operations infinitely more streamlined and reliable. Overall, Roommaster has simplified many aspects of our daily operations and made hotel management much more efficient.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
While the software itself is powerful, I feel there is room for improvement in customer support. I’ve noticed that knowledge levels can vary between support agents, and sometimes my questions aren’t fully understood before I receive a templated response. This often doesn’t address my actual issue. Additionally, there are a few functional tweaks that would enhance the experience: 1. Allow multiple room types to be booked in a single WebBook transaction. 2. Enable manual entry of payment amounts during the payment process, rather than automatically applying the first approval code’s amount. 3. Automatically categorize and label bookings by their source (e.g., Booking.com, Airbnb, direct website) for easier tracking. 4. Have different languages installed for different languages user review (e.g., Chinese, my owner wants to read all the data on his own, but since it's only English, he find it hard to get information on his own end.) These improvements would make an already solid system even more intuitive and efficient.
