What do you like most?
I like the functionality of having templates for contracts, agreements, and group resumes that populate after you generate the booking so it's super easy and streamlined. I also love the inquiry form that links directly on our websites to ET so that we don't have to do extra work to add the client to our systems. Also, the integration with Mews, which we are still working on, seems like it's going to save us so much time. That will prevent us from having to enter the block in our PMS, too, because it will automatically populate. The guest will complete the inquiry form, and from there, we can submit a proposal from ET. Then we can generate a contract within ET and send it over right there. All communication stays right there in event temple. It will also then populate over to Mews, our PMS, so that we don't have to enter details twice. The pickup will also autogenerate to ET and Mews so all of our reporting is generated automatically. It saves us so much time, especially since we operate three hotels with a small team and just one sales manager. We all tag team efforts, so having a system that allows us to streamline processes and make it overall so much easier for our team AND for the client is great (because it also let's the client and our team sign digitally with a simple link, so no other software is needed which is extremely helpful, especially when we are working with people that don't have e-sign functions or aren't tech savvy). We used it with our old PMS, roommaster, too, but RM doesn't have integrations with literally anyone, so it was duplicated work but even then, it still saved us so much time when it comes to creating contracts, managing bookings at two hotels at that time, and ensuring that all information is kept digitally in a secure place. Before this, we had paper files which is terrible and I wanted to get away from that as quickly as possible and did a lot of research - so glad I found event temple! Overall a great system that our team really loves!
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
I genuinely can't think of something that would make it easier -- it has the umbrella company for us (Danville Hotel Collection) with templates, then under that, our three hotels. It allows us to have multiple users per hotel, but then they can also be chain admins/users, so we can have our small team access all hotels. It integrates with Mews which we are still working on but thinking that will be great.
