What do you like most?
* That it shows how many people got far enough down the funnel, to enter their email (before abandoning). * Of these abandoned carts, online lookers who abandoned their cart will get an an email or 2 (or however many you wish to send them, I recommend no more than 2 and spaced apart a few days) to ask them if they are 'ready' to finish their check-out process to book - which I believe is customizable, but I've never changed it. * People actually use these emails to go back and finish booking. In my weekly emails, I see any 'recovered' carts and how much the customer spent. When there are recovered carts in my email, I am so happy! I realize these people were probably going to book anyway, but having this tool is great if that's not the case PLUS it's great behavioral analytics for us to see of our guest demographic.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
I wish it would prevent the guest from NOT abandoning their cart ;). That once they start putting in information, it would lock the screen if they don't finish and pay and they wouldn't even be able to turn off their computer if they try. That they would need to take it to the Geek Squad to try to fix and even THEY wouldn't be able to do it. They would be told, 'Sorry, I guess you are going to that hotel.' LOL! Kidding! I can't think of a thing.
