What do you like most?
Book4Time offers a robust assortment of reports in most categories. This is one of the best attributes of Book 4 Time. I like the way the reports are categorized and that there's lots of options for tracking individual results. The hotel integration usually works well and is better than most other software options. The appointment book is easy to read, and most new employees find it easy to learn how to use. The online booking system works great and edits and changes update very quickly. IT tech support is available by phone or email and response times are fairly quick.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Retail product management needs streamlining to allow for easier entry of product variables such as same item in different sizes, colors, scents, etc. Dynamic Yield Management could use more optimization, more threshold options and better analytics. I wish that there were more marketing filters that came native to the program versus having to create them. Creating them is a great feature, but it's very tedious to do. I would be nice if one could create a SKU filter by selecting a class or subclass or vendor, etc. Currently the program forces you to manually enter each SKU into a comma separated field and I haven't found a way to copy/paste this information that works. The way to request feature updates to the support team needs improvement. There are other software platforms that do this better with more transparency and responsiveness. There should be some features that should be able to be locked by IP address such as the time clock in order to prevent fraudlent time keeping while still allowing provider access to the appointment book. The system currently is all or nothing in this regard which resulted in us not being able to use the time clock feature. I think that digital intake forms should be a part of the standard subscription as opposed to an added feature. Also, it's dissappointing that if a user signs up for a feature and Book 4 Time doesn't proactively help to set that feature up, the user still gets charged for it.
