What do you like most?
We have been using FPG and their In-Gauge platform for our front desk upsell program, and the experience has been very positive. The system is intuitive and easy for the team to use on a daily basis. One of the biggest advantages is the variety of training programs and support materials available, helping the team stay engaged and continuously improve their upselling skills. The platform also provides useful performance insights and motivates the staff through its interactive approach.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
If possible, it would be great to introduce a feature where different hotels can compete and benchmark performance on a daily basis — similar to an STR comp set for revenue. For example, hotels could compare metrics such as upsell RevPAR, conversion rate, and ADR, along with a monthly leaderboard highlighting the top three upsellers within the comp set.
