What do you like most?
For small Lodges and B&B I think Wix Websites with Wix Hotels which uses HotelRunner as its channel manger is great and very affordable, great looking websites and functionality. There is a payment gateway with several connection types Stripe, PayPal, Mercado Pago(South American payments)and the the ability to take offline payments. The channel manager can connect to all the major OTA's about 150. The website builder is great really easy to use and the site looks great have a look at ours https://www.centennialhousetaupo.co.nz/.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The down side is the booking engine just doesn't work for us as we often book out the whole lodge and there is no way to close off the individual rooms so they cant be booked other than manually. It is very limited compared to what you can do with other PMS's systems but if you just want the basics its fine. The channel manager HotelRunner is a nightmare a lot of connection issues, like the calendar not syncing and messing it completely up on other booking sites to the point where I had to disconnect it and manually correct the mess taking a long time.
