Quick guest messaging and upsells — but the interface takes getting used to

What do you like most?
Communicating with guests is quick and very straightforward. Our guests appreciate having a chat feature and WhatsApp, since it’s easier than writing an email. Guests can see our entire selection at a glance. In addition, we’ve sold—not many yet, but still a few more—upgrades and late check-outs than usual. David has been our point of contact at Duve so far. As soon as we send him an email about a problem, he jumps right on it and tries to help us. The online training for Duve was also great. He took plenty of time to answer all our questions and was very flexible with scheduling.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Sometimes I find the interface a little complicated. You have to be pretty familiar with it to know exactly where to click. There are also a few settings that create a bit of extra work for us at the front desk. For example, breakfast appears as a “Fixed Charge” in our reservation system, and we have to manually change it to “Package.” On top of that, you get a lot of message requests that aren’t actual inquiries, but simply a notification that a link has been sent—for example, for bookings made through Booking.com. That makes the message requests a bit confusing.
