What do you like most?
I would like to express my appreciation for HotelRunner and share some of the positive aspects I have experienced while using the platform. First of all, the user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate and manage multiple distribution channels efficiently. The dashboard provides a clear overview of availability, reservations, and performance metrics, which helps streamline daily operations. Another feature I value highly is the seamless integration with various OTAs and booking platforms. This connectivity significantly reduces the risk of overbooking and ensures that all inventory is synchronized in real time, which is a major advantage in today’s fast-paced hospitality environment. Additionally, the reporting tools are insightful and allow for effective monitoring and analysis of sales performance. These reports help us make informed decisions and adjust our strategies to improve occupancy and revenue. Lastly, the support team has been consistently responsive and helpful, providing timely assistance whenever needed. Overall, HotelRunner has been a reliable and efficient solution for our property, and I’m pleased with the improvements it has brought to our distribution and reservation management.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
- Selection menu should be changed to branched selective menu on mapping screen. - Transaction speed may be boosted. - Program should be used as extranet for channels in order to see standard structure on channels.While I appreciate the overall functionality and convenience that HotelRunner offers, I would like to share some areas where I believe there is room for improvement. Firstly, although the interface is generally user-friendly, some features are not as intuitive as they could be—particularly when it comes to setting up promotions or configuring rate plans. A more guided or simplified setup process would be very helpful for users who are not as technically experienced. One key area for improvement is the mapping screen, where the selection menu could be redesigned into a branched selective menu. This would enhance usability and make the process of mapping channels and room types more efficient and clearer. In terms of performance, the transaction speed could definitely be improved. Faster system response times would significantly enhance user experience, especially during peak operation hours. We have also experienced occasional synchronization delays between HotelRunner and certain OTAs. Although these are not frequent, they can lead to overbooking or missed bookings, and minimizing such occurrences would be highly beneficial. Additionally, using the program as an extranet for channels—allowing users to see the standard structure on each channel—would provide greater transparency and consistency across different platforms. Lastly, while the platform provides a variety of reports, more customization options and deeper analytics would support better strategic planning and performance monitoring. These suggestions are offered with the intention of contributing to the continued development of an already valuable platform. I believe that addressing these areas would significantly enhance the overall user experience.
