What do you like most?
I like that ROH allows me to keep track of all my payments and various invoices in one place. It's very nice to be able to see how much and when payments are due for all clients in one cohesive system. It's also extremely helpful that ROH sends automated reminders to clients that payments are due, which takes the hassle of sending reminders and keeping an eye on each clients deposits. ROH definitely minimizes the work surrounding sending invoices and collecting payments, especially in busy seasons when things can easily get lost in the shuffle. It also helps clients with its easy payment options. Having all their options in one place takes the worry of payment off the clients and allows both myself and the client to focus on other servicing aspects of the booking. It has definitely enhanced the experience for all parties involved and I look forward to using ROH more in the future!
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
One of the main things I would improve with ROH is the ability to view invoices after uploading them into the system. It would be helpful to be able to double check which invoice PDF was originally uploaded so that I can accurately update the amount due and maintain order with payments. While ROH allows for the amount due in the system to be edited, if I'd like to change the attachment it requires me to archive previous invoices and create a new invoice, which can create some confusion when reconfirming which invoice was most recently shared with clients. It may also be helpful to allow clients to silence payment reminders. While clients are encouraged to pay through ROH, there are times when they choose to pay via other methods. Often, they will reach out to me to request we stop sending the payment reminders after they've paid, but we are unable to mark the invoice as paid until we receive the payment in our system. It may enhance the client experience if they were able to mark the invoice as paid on their end and submit documentation of this payment as proof to end these notifications.
