What do you like most?
Unmatched insight to actualized group business that took place at competing hotels and resorts. Who met, where, how often and how big their events were. There are much smarter prospecting precision filters for drilling down to vertical markets for the sales managers. Seeing how accounts we do business with also use other competitors and to drive the prospecting to earn that business. It is a great time saver for benchmarking against the comp set and seeing what can get potentially from feeder markets and identify industry demand cycles if have enough time to really dive in further for all the customizable reports you can create. It is a time saver for a DOSM to help the SM's success and efficiency when they have dedicated time to prospecting not having to spend time digging on who/what to call. When you spend a lot of time on pipeline management and growth it can be a game-changer to the teams confidence when used consistently and with confidence. The sales training is invaluable and the team is very patient on boarding new staff and looking for ways to make the tool more effective to those using it on a daily basis. It is a good opener in a prospect call that you know where they have been when do the research
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Limited contact information depth direct to planner - perhaps bigger integration with LinkedIn? Would be interesting to see a predictive index based on historical data of who might meet in the next 12 months to call on for a radius of where ppl held meetings or by vertical. Integration into CI/TY and Delphi to save time in logging prospecting calls. Add event classification tags such as corporate, association, incentive, SMERF, govt. Being able to export to an excel spreadsheet. There could be a more robust info for the Panhandle/Gulf Coast and maybe add mobile access for SM's on the road (though often have laptop handy). In a nutshell, is an absolute best in hospitality for seeing "who met where" but as an evolution it should be helping us predict "who will meet next and automating that to the SM assigned to those verticals or classifications.
