What do you like most?
Hub OS gives us great value for money for a 431 room property in Perth CBD. We use it every day to assign and schedule housekeeping, and it has made a real difference to efficiency. Supervisors can check room status and staff workload without calling around on the radio, and we can track cleaning productivity in real time so we catch issues before guests notice. Room turnaround has become noticeably faster since staff always know what needs attention next instead of waiting for instructions. The maintenance side is just as useful. The work order and ticketing system lets us log and track issues early so small problems don’t turn into expensive repairs, and it keeps engineering accountable for jobs that are still open. We can see at a glance which tickets are overdue and follow up straight away instead of things slipping through the cracks. The checklist feature we use for Housekeeping, Engineering and Front Office has also helped a lot. It has cut down significantly on paper checklists and made it much easier to see what has been handed off and what still needs doing. Both teams can check the same record instead of relying on handwritten notes left at the desk, which used to get lost or missed between shifts. The part we rely on most is probably the guest experience tracker. Having live visibility of complaints and compliments as they come in lets us respond quickly, sometimes before the guest has even checked out, instead of finding out through a review later. It helps us keep service consistent across shifts, and management can see trends over time rather than just individual incidents, which makes it easier to spot recurring issues and fix them at the source. Overall, Hub OS has become a core part of how we run the hotel day to day, bringing housekeeping, maintenance and guest experience into one place instead of several separate systems. The support team has also been responsive whenever we’ve had questions about setting things up. It has made our operation more organised, more transparent across departments, and easier to manage with less paper and fewer things falling through the gaps.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
One area for improvement would be a scheduled reporting feature with a high-end dashboard that shows overall hotel performance across key areas in one place, rather than requiring separate reports for housekeeping, maintenance, and guest experience. A similar live dashboard view would also be useful for day-to-day monitoring, so we can check performance at a glance without waiting for a scheduled report. It would also be great to have the ability to create our own custom checklists, tailored to our specific departments and workflows, instead of relying only on the preset templates. These additions would make Hub OS even more valuable as a single platform for running the hotel.
