What do you like most?
The integration and setup is extremely intuitive. Our brand was able to set up and activate 30 hotels relatively quickly. The conditions you set and the PMS information that drives who and when you market to is very easy to implement. We have increased our upsell revenue substantially since implementing early in 2021 and additional capabilities like extend your stay and add-on packages are showing true incremental growth into 2022. Finally, the bid model for upsells is a great feature. Rather than having a static upsell rate, you allow the guest to decide a price based on a range you provide. This gives the guest a sense of control on the price they are willing to pay and gives you basic insight into the desired rate that your guest is willing to pay for a particular room type.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
A few improvements to suggest include email template structure, customization and reporting. The email template is simple and effective, however, more customization would be a nice feature to offer. Currently, emails are relatively rigid in look and feel, despite being able to have your own branded design integrated into the template. The other suggestion would be expand the portfolio wide reporting. There is general information like open rate, click through rate, accept/deny ratios and revenue generated, but more educational information would be nice like optimal pricing. If guests are not interacting with a particular upgrade, noting this in the reporting would be a nice feature to call out where pricing optimization may need to happen.
