What do you like most?
Event Temple has given us a much better structure around how our sales and event teams work across multiple venues. I like that we can manage the sales process, bookings and event details within one platform while still configuring it around the different needs of our properties. I’ve also been impressed with the Event Temple team. As we’ve pushed into things like the portal, APIs, integrations and more advanced uses of our data, they’ve been willing to engage with us and understand what we’re trying to accomplish. The platform continues to evolve, which gives me confidence that there is still a lot more we can do with it.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The biggest opportunity for improvement is reporting and business intelligence. Event Temple captures a tremendous amount of valuable data across the entire sales and event lifecycle, but it can still be difficult to connect that data and see the bigger picture across multiple venues. I’d love to see easier access to the underlying data and stronger integrations with tools like Power BI and AI platforms. Being able to easily analyze conversion rates, pipeline velocity, lead sources, booking patterns, forecasting and potential sales red flags would be extremely valuable. We’re beginning to explore this ourselves through the API, but I think making these insights more accessible natively or through stronger data integrations would take an already strong platform to another level.
