What do you like most?
Through the use of Event Temple, our team is able to properly monitor bookings across our sales team & at the property level. The report functions and various filters allow us to maximize our information extraction from the system to better serve our analysis of revenue, new accounts, lost business, etc. The team is so quick to respond to inquiries and their Learning Platform as well as their onboarding process ensures our team is never lost. The platform & dashboard layout is user friendly. The Events tab has allowed our hotels with function spaces to excel in their catering & event sales and to better harness document templates (like BEOs and contracts) through the system linked directly to bookings theyve created already. Being able to build menus and group bookings has been a game changer for our teams that were previously using less attractive software (google sheets, etc.) for the same reason. There are so many customizable fields that have allowed our teams to build reports or to exclude specific categories that are or are not necessary their own reporting purposes. The Pipeline layout with the drag & drop function is so intuitive and having the ability to set up workflows has been extra helpful for our teams looking for alternatives to paper & pen checklists
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The Event Temple software is constantly evolving and upgrading to meet the needs of its customer base (ours included). That means actively listening to the functions our teams require within the system to further our own success with building accounts, bookings, etc and the Event Temple team have been incredible to work with in this capacity. We know the improvements are always underway and they reassure us of this by launching new features frequently that are available for us to review at any time. The transparency with upgrades, system improvements, etc has been wonderful. We appreciate the team frequently reaching out for our feedback and to touch base to ensure they know what we need to continue to succeed. No specific improvements are necessary at this time as our teams feel capable to achieve success with the software set up in its current form.
