What do you like most?
Akia is a real time saver and having live chat to communicate allows us to better collaborate between the staff and our guests. Giving us the ablity to respond rapidly and with a personal touch to whatever they may ask. All of these features on Akia that allow us to reach our guest and coordinate staff, save us time and money, add value to our property, as well as to aid in seeing that our revenue goes to the best use it can. Our staff has real time communication about our guest request, giving us the ability to streamline our response, assign the task to the proper person or department, who can then report the status of the call and all of this increases our efficiency. It allows us to track the reporting of issues via room number. The messaging capabilities to schedule text / SMS to guests prior to arrival and to check in with them during and after their stay is fabulous! Akia allows us to search for a guests in house or even if they have checked out. This allows us to go back and evaluate the items that were brought to our attention and to see how the response was handled via communication and time stamps of tasks completed. Akia also keeps accessible chat from guests' previous stay that show upon their next arrival. Staff may then be better able to evaluate the guests needs prior to arrival. For instance, if they would have preferred a lower floor or a room away from the elevator. There is a section under guests that allows us to make notes regarding the guests stay and or preferences. The ability to direct the guests via pre loaded auto responses utlitizing a link to a website, for say a nearby restaurant or even to leave a great review for us. This mean from the time of booking the room to post check out, we are able to help provide support and service to our guest in a quick, easy to use way that our guests love and we love it too!
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
I would like to see the process for the templates to be delivered made easier. There is a lot of confusing architecture involved in figuring out how to send an automated say pre arrival or set time/day after check in.
