What do you like most?
We use Charge Automation to collect security deposits, rental agreements, and some payments from guests when they book on various platforms. We also use it to offer upsells and give check-in info once a guest has completed their pre check in form. It's very nice to have a unified and automated system to handle this and allow guests to self service. After they complete their info they have access to our guidebook and keycode as well.In addition I would like to mention that ChargeAutomation support is pretty great. While the software is still maturing, the support team is quick to address issues and get fixes in from their dev team.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
We've been using Charge Automation for over a year now, and they are continuing to improve. I will say that some aspects of the software are a bit clunky or certain things require more effort that would be ideal. Things I'd love to see improved: - Trying to find all the reservations that have not completed their pre check in form is basically not possible. We keep track of this elsewhere and then look up reservations in Charge Automation. - While they allow overrides on a per property basis, about half of our listings are require specific settings that would be nice to do once for all of them rather than adjusting on each each and every listing.
