M3 Receives National Recognition as Top 2021 Employer
The company was honored in four categories by Energage’s July 2021 Culture Excellence Awards
M3, the hospitality sector’s #1 cloud-based accounting, financial and data management platform in North America, was recently recognized in Energage's quarterly national Culture Excellence Awards, which acknowledges companies based on employee feedback. M3 received high scores in the following categories: Formal Training, Top Managers, Work-Life Flexibility and Employee Value Proposition.
Energage, a technology company that empowers workplace excellence and the organization behind the premier Top Workplaces awards, offers year-round national employer recognition with several quarterly based awards, including its USA, Industry, and Culture Excellence awards. Organizations are evaluated against the industry’s most robust benchmark, based on Energage’s 15 years of research and data from 70,000 organizations and 23 million employee surveys.
“M3’s company-wide personal commitment is simple: Do the Right Thing. Employee-owned and family-oriented, we are equally committed to each other as to our customers,” said Julie Farschman, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at M3. “To be honored for our work culture on a national scale is an incredible testament to our team’s intentional approach to professional and personal employee development through continuous education and training, surveys and mentor programs.”
In 2021, M3 received the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Top Workplaces Award for its third consecutive year, ranking #11 out of 70 midsized companies which employ 150 to 499 people. M3 was also named Best Employer by Gwinnett Magazine in the 2020 Best of Gwinnett® Awards.
As the accounting, financial and data management solution of choice for nearly 7,000 hotels, M3 employs over 200 employees with an impressive voluntary turnover rate of less than 10%. Throughout the pandemic, M3 has taken significant measures to prioritize the health and wellbeing of its employees by accommodating remote work and heightening safety precautions in the office – all without laying off or furloughing staff. The company also supports a family-friendly benefit structure, offering a wide choice of healthcare plans with 75-100% of employee family coverage and six percent of contributions in the company’s 401K plan matched.
