What do you like most?
GuestRevu has become the backbone of how we listen to guests at Pamarah Lodge. The automated post-stay surveys go out without anyone having to remember, and the custom questions are where it really earns its place for us. Along with other important questions, we ask guests how they booked their activities, and those answers feed straight into how we run the front desk. Having our feedback and reviews pulled into one dashboard means we're not chasing them across five different platforms, and problems surface within days rather than months, while we can still do something about them. The results speak for themselves. Our Booking.com score has moved from 9.4 to 9.5, and we hold a 5.0 out of 5 on Tripadvisor across 372 reviews, along with our 2026 Tripadvisor award "Travellers' Choice Best of the Best"placing us in the top 1% of hotels in the world. Consistent, structured guest feedback is a large part of how we got there. The support team deserves a special mention. Chantel is our go to person, and she is always responsive, quick to answer, and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. For an independent lodge without a big central office behind it, that matters a great to us. Thank you Chantel!
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The one thing we'd love to see is the ability to include a photo in our management response emails. We often take photos with our guests during their stay and share them on social media with their permission, and being able to attach that photo to the response would lift the personal touch enormously, as it turns a reply into a memory. It's a small addition that would make a big difference for a lodge like ours, where the relationship with the guest is the whole product. We've been asking for it for a few years now, so consider this another gentle nudge! The only other thing, and it's a minor one, is that GuestRevu's own review notifications lag behind the OTAs, sometimes by a good 24 hours after Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Expedia or Google have already alerted us. The practical effect is that we check the OTAs first and GuestRevu second, which is the wrong way round given GuestRevu is where we manage everything. If those alerts could be synced closer to real time, GuestRevu would be the first place we look rather than the confirmation afterwards. But honestly, this is a minor change.
