Great starting point for prospecting and seeing market trends. All-in-one visibility—easy to see leads, past bookings, and group history in one place. Helps identify high-value accounts and booking windows, hotels can align pricing strategies with demand periods.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Keep improving AI features as time goes on and information is shared and add more capabilities each month or changes that may be needed. Easier way for Sales teams can track arrival/departure patterns, meeting space usage, and group preferences to tailor proposals. More from the platform to help users benchmark against competitors, showing who’s booking what types of space and when. While Knowland continues to innovate with features like Account Alerts, Market Snapshot, and Portfolio Capture, there are still areas where the platform could evolve to better meet the needs of hotel sales teams. One opportunity lies in enhancing lead qualification. While Knowland provides rich data on group activity, it could go further by integrating predictive analytics to help prioritize leads based on likelihood to book, budget alignment, and historical conversion trends. Additionally, the user interface, though recently improved, could benefit from more customizable dashboards. Sales professionals often have different priorities—some focus on corporate, others on SMERF or association business. Allowing users to tailor their homepage to reflect their segment focus would improve efficiency and engagement. Another area for growth is CRM integration. While Knowland has partnerships with Amadeus and Oracle, deeper two-way syncing with platforms like Salesforce or Opera would reduce manual data entry and improve workflow continuity. Finally, Knowland could offer localized market insights—not just national trends, but hyper-local data on competitors, feeder markets, and seasonal booking patterns. This would empower properties like Delta Somerset to make smarter, faster decisions in a competitive landscape.
