What do you like most?
Canary Technologies is genuinely easy to use, and the short time to implementation meant the whole rollout felt effortless from day one. The upselling software drives strong ancillary revenue: guests are happy to upsell and upgrade to a better package or add-on, which measurably lifts our TrevPAR, while order fulfillment stays smooth, reliable, and fully automated. The hotel chatbots handle website and live chat inquiries around the clock, helping guests with booking questions, pre-arrival requests, and general help, so our front-desk service team gets consistent support instead of being overwhelmed during peak check-in times. We see high conversion rates among both guests and staff members, and adoption was remarkably fast thanks to the intuitive interface and clean design. The clear reporting dashboards give us real visibility into performance, letting us track incremental revenue product by product. The responsive support team resolves questions quickly and proactively shares best practices, which made continuous optimization easy. Overall, the platform delivers measurable ROI and additional revenue we can clearly attribute to both the upselling software and the hotel chatbots — a rare combination of ease of use, fast results, and long-term value that has made it a core part of our guest experience and commercial strategy.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
One thing that could be improved is the depth and flexibility of reporting at the corporate HQ level. As a group managing many properties, we'd love fully customizable dashboards that let us aggregate performance across all hotels while still drilling down by region, brand, or individual property. More flexible data exports, configurable KPIs, and the ability to tailor views to different stakeholders — from property managers to central revenue and commercial teams — would make it much easier to steer the rollout and compare results across the portfolio. Greater flexibility in adapting the solution to different market and brand requirements from a central HQ perspective would take it to the next level. Ideally, HQ could also define global configuration templates and rollout standards once, then push them to new properties automatically, ensuring consistency across the group while still leaving room for local adaptation where each market genuinely needs it.
