What do you like most?
Duve makes guest communication far more efficient. It lets us share key information, promote upsells, highlight events, and send relevant messages at every stage of the guest journey. Most importantly, it makes online check-in quick and easy for guests. Its detailed targeting options ensure messages reach only the guests they’re relevant to, which keeps our communication focused and effective. The guest app is also visually appealing, intuitive, and simple to use. Integrating Duve with our PMS (Mews) was seamless. We now use it regularly to notify guests of unusual events, encourage them to complete online check-in before arrival, and promote our upsells.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The biggest challenge with Duve is that the back-end experience isn’t as intuitive as the guest-facing side. The platform can do an enormous amount, which is fantastic, but it can take longer than expected to figure out how to configure certain features. During a busy workday, it’s hard to find the time to fully explore all the available settings. That said, the platform’s strengths clearly outweigh these frustrations. My main suggestion would be to simplify the interface and make navigation between related features more consistent. For example, different types of scheduled messages are managed in separate sections, and activating one can still leave another dashboard showing the feature as inactive, which caused unnecessary confusion. As a result, I suspect we could be getting much more out of Duve, but because the setup is confusing, we currently use only the standard functions. Daily tasks keep pushing back the time I’d need to really learn the platform inside-out, which is a shame.
