What do you like most?
The ability to implement in stages and grow our ‘loyalty’ program. As this is not a traditional points program with multiple stays needed for the guest to benefit we see immediate results as the guest receives benefits immediately and thus one time travellers encouraged to book direct vs OTA. So we grow with the product and the product is always changing so we get to grow our brand with them. The service received is important to us and I always feel heard and important to them. It’s a true partnership.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Because the product is changing and there are different levels of adoption and we have choice it can start to feel expensive. But it gives companies that adopting multiple choices which is good. It also means starting out with the beginning levels of product allows trust to build it will work. It’s a double edge! But the ROI is there so it works out it in the end.
