Great PMS system for an incredibly competitive price.
Due to the fact that it's a PMS, Channel Manager, Booking Engine, Revenue Tool and Guest communication Tool in one, I don't have any additional costs.

Hotel Connect is amazing, with an attractive interface, with direct connectivity with all our channels, providing reports not only for revenue but also for housekeeping and breakfasts. In cases of non-refundable bookings the guest receives an automatic payment request, the same when a reservation is canceled, the payment can be done in multiple ways: can be charged directly with one click as the credit card details are saved in the reservation details or even the payment can be done via the payment link online. Another amazing thing is the function for tasks and notifications which allows you to have better communication between employees and employers. All team members from receptionists to the reservation department are very happy with it, save you a lot of time, very productive. I highly recommend it to hotelier industries and I like to believe that it will become the main platform for reservations in Europe.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
I think the main issue is that the non-refundable reservations via the booking channel appear as refundable and it is creating confusion when comes to the cancelation policies.

The system is available in French and works fine, but there are still some words that should be translated differently. Our account manager is aware of this and it should be correctly early next year, so let's see :)

At first we couldn't find HotelConnect's transaction costs. We now know where these amounts can be found for our accounting.

I'm a little older and can use the system well, so it's very easy for me. The link with booking.com is also very practical, as I don't have to worry about anything. That's good for sales too.

Additionally, I'm very happy with the great customer support.
A very precise management of OTA channels, reservations and front office operations. It is extremely simple to use and training new employees is incredibly easy. A very understandable and user-friendly PMS. My personal highlight is the integrated Payment Getaway, all functions such as processing refunds or releasing authorizations are just a click away. The PMS enables you to send the guest a payment link and a web-based guest registration form prior to arrival. This considerably simplifies the check-in process for both parties. This PMS is highly recommended for resorts, boutique hotels, small to medium-sized hotels and hostels. The customer support is also very helpful and courteous.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The cashier functions as well as the possibilities for housekeeping management could be worked out. otherwise I am unfortunately not lacking any disadvantage.

We are a cosy little hotel with a total of 7 rooms, working with a young staff (mainly students without hotel experience). What we needed was a simple easy to use system and that's exactly what this is. We worked with pen & paper before and never used a system as it was too difficult for our staff. I checked many different system, but only HotelConnect looked user-friendly enough. I was a bit nervous when starting with HotelConnect at first, but I must say the smooth onboarding process was a great experience. We are using HotelConnect now since April 2021, my staff works very well with the system now and never want to go back to pen & paper. I think that is what I like most, no questions and mistakes anymore. Working with a system also saves a lot of time, bookings are automatically entered, payments are collected, etc. So I have more time to work on other things.
If someone is reading this and is nearby vibrant Moffat, you are more then welcome to stop by, see the system and drink a beer :)
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
I must say that we don't use 100% of the features within the system, but what we use works good. It would be nice if HotelConnect will also offers a hotel website, this way they will really offer a full solution. We will definitely use it! We are now using a Squarespace website.
I would also like to say that I have not much experience with other system, so cannot really compare HotelConnect with other systems. I did have a look at many demo accounts, but never worked with something else.

Regarding our bar/restaurant features, we have mainly focused on hotel-only features in recent years, but will be adding some bar/restaurant features as well. If you need a complete restaurant system then we do have some nice integrations in our marketplace. The cashier will be available in our mobile app by the end of March 2022. It looks like Noovy is not recommended by any hotels
It offers a complete solution to hotels, I think it's API connection is very well made. We receive all possible restrictions and even promotions directly from HotelConnect, this is the only system that provides us with such an advanced connection.

It offers a complete solution to hotels, I think it's API connection is very well made. We receive all possible restrictions and even promotions directly from HotelConnect, this is the only system that provides us with such an advanced connection.

What differentiates this product or service from the competition?
Answer:
First of all the API, as mentioned earlier there is no competitors that send us promotions automatically, which also saves time for the hoteliers. Furthermore I believe their payment automation is unique. Some other system have payment automation as well, but HotelConnect takes it to a whole new level.
