What do you like most?
Mews is changing the game when it comes to Property Management Systems, the Cloud first approach allows quick development cycles, easy to integrate plugins, open API's & integrated merchant. End of shift & End of day reconciling nightmares are a thing of the past. The Mews booking engine is beautifully built, it is high converting, easy to embed on your website & with the ability to build packages & allow the sale of add on's it too is changing the game. Mews has a direct integration with Booking.com which thanks to the built in merchant it self reports to booking.com when a card payment fails, alerting the customer to provide a new card or risk cancellation. Mews commander mobile app again changes the game, with built in POS it's easy to add ancillary products to rooms, use for housekeeping, cleaning & inspecting rooms as well as task management & direct messaging between teams. Mews provides a learning management system with their subscription & all team members are enrolled into the appropriate learning paths. This has been a great help. Mews kiosks allow customers to self check-in, allowing a contactless journey for guests, the app itself is smooth & well built. Mews integrated Merchant allows the automatic settlement / processing of cards based on settlement terms you define, charge a guests credit card at time of booking, before check-in or on check out.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Multi property functionality - Room Categories, Rate Groups, Rate Plans, Products, Vouchers etc. Being able to create reservations from the timeline would be a great addition, especially if you could pick & choose the exact rooms you want to book. Single Sign On & a central user management tool would be a great addition. More direct OTA connections would be great, Expedia, Agoda, Airbnb etc..
