We have been using eTip for almost 2 years now & our only regret is not signing up sooner. Not only do their digital tipping solutions allow for staff to receive digital tips, but most of our staff has reported an increase in cash tips as well!

For the most part, the back-end system is super user friendly and easy to manage. I would say the best "feature" though is the support from the eTip team... whenever I need something or have a question, they are right there to support me and my portfolio of hotels.

Today's hotel guests are carrying less cash than ever. It allows the guest to tip the room attendant through a QR code that is specific to the room so there is no confusion on who cleaned the room. Is also does not tempt others from the hotel that may enter the room to accidentally take the cash tip. We are seeing many tips on a daily basis.

What does this product or service do well?

Answer:

eTip's easy-to-use platform provides a digital payment solution allowing hotel & onsite restaurant guests to easily leave tips for property staff. The platform is incredibly simple to use, without the necessity of downloading an app.

What differentiates this product or service from the competition?

Answer:

There have been a few products similar to eTip pop up since I was first introduced to their platform, and why wouldn't that be the case - eTip is doing it better and eTip is doing it smarter. The company is run by people who truly care about helping others, which is the heart of their product in the first place. This is a game changer for hoteliers who want to help out their staff, in particularly those less fortunate - eTip it there to help all around.

Based on your experience with this product or service, if you could give one piece of advice to a hotelier considering this product or service, what would it be?

Answer:

Having seen various products with similar services, eTip is hands-down the best product out there for so many reasons. Simple, easy to use and deploy at your property, app-less/cashless & contact-free, and the eTip staff makes it very easy for your staff to implement and for your guests to use - and for your staff to be appreciated financially for their great work. If you're looking at multiple services, think about the care you'd be given - eTip makes it a no-brainer decision.
