Tapendium chose to partner with Optii as it is the premier solution for hoteliers to manage their service requests. Not only does it provide a simple interface for teams and staff, but the reporting and management interfaces provide the details needed by management and decision makers. The escalation and alerting system also gives us confidence that requests will be actioned and no guests will be left waiting.
From an integration perspective, Optii was able to provide us with comprehensive API documentation and knowledgeable support. Marrying this with their constant desire to improve meant that the minor enhancements we requested were actioned rapidly and in a way that we could easily add them to our integration.
Optii uses advanced technology in its hotel operations solution to make very cutting edge. It's housekeeping solution optimizes the efficiency of a hotel's workforce by using many data points including historic data and PMS guest data. Similar to a revenue management system, it aims to positively impact the hotels ADR and ultimately profitability.
Optii is a leader in the Housekeeping and Staff Collaboration realm. Optii is a long term partner and has developed great integrations that work in combination with our Oracle Hospitality OPERA Suite.
Optii is an excellent operational platform that provides 4 great services. Their housekeeping software is super intuitive and easy to use. Their chat is fantastic for optimizing communication. Also with their maintenance platform they help keep hotels proactive vs reactive.

I had worked for a few days trying to get what we needed because of, well, mostly personnel issues. The support team at Optii was top notch!
Optii has focussed on user experience in the development of their solution, this has not only made their suite intuitive and easy to learn, but also allows users to rapidly master the system. This allows both all staff, from floor-workers to senior managers to focus on their role and not waste time learning a cumbersome system.
The SaaS model used by Optii means that users get constant, iterative updates. This reduces the need to re-learn processes and systems and allows for additions and improvements to be easily rolled out to all customers.
The level of configuration available to each hotel means that Optii can match the user's workflows rather than many other solutions that require the users to adapt to a fixed workflow. It's obvious that the use of machine learning, inline translations and a sophisticated (yet easy) rules engine has been developed for just this purpose.
Optii's differentiation from the rest of the market isn't just in their product, it's also in their customer service and partner interactions. During our integration development Optii staff responded rapidly and took the time to provide comprehensive, accurate answers. I have confidence that this is part of the organisational culture as our mutual customers had always spoken highly of the Optii team.
Legacy tools on the market serve more as "checklist style" options and focus more on managing specific tasks. Optii takes a proactive approach toward operations as a whole and is more strategic for the business. The Optii team is composed of hotel operations experts who are hired directly from the field. It's clear that their Product, Customer Success, and Support teams have been in your shoes before.
Optii is a very innovative player with a highly focused team. Specially in the last months the importance of such solutions has skyrocketed and Optii is a great company to consider when selecting the right solution.

I would highly recommend signing up and getting the system in place. Beyond that, my advice on how to achieve this would vary based on hotel size and if it is a new or existing hotel.
For a new hotel I would recommend consulting with Optii and guest facing staff to create the most common tasks and empower trusted staff to create new tasks as required.
For an existing, small hotel I would recommend getting Optii set-up based on staff input and fine-tune the system as it is used.
For a larger hotel, or a group of hotels I would say "don't be afraid to think outside the box". I can see opportunities beyond internal staff use and extending toward some external contractors using the system for job allocation within the hotel.
If a hotel isn't using dedicated hotel operations management software then they're setting themselves up for a poor guest experience.
I think this is a great product for many types of hotels. My recommendation would be to be clear about all of your objectives. What are you trying to solve for, what are your business problems and then let the very knowledgable team at Optii share how other hoteliers have used the product to solve the same problems. Use the team as a resource for you!
Optii is a highly specialized set of solutions. Optii and the Oracle Hospitality portfolio can work in combination to help staff access the right data at the right time. Working behind the scenes with the best technology from companies such as Opti and Oracle Hospitality allows to increase security and positively impact the guest experience.
I would recommend that hotel teams looking into Optii consider their whole tech stack when looking at Optii. Optii is a fantastic integrator and connected software which is different in todays hotel landscape
