"We were looking for a very interactive, easy-to-use booking engine and GDS supplier, if you will, so we use Vertical Booking. It works out extremely well. It is easy to craft, great service that is provided. Very local contacts, so that makes it quite enjoyable and it provides the user with a very user-friendly experience.<p> Put in your dates, select your room types. It allows us to do a lot more as well. Offer guest enhancements to their experience so that they can craft a unique visit while they're here. It provides wonderful ease with which we can create confirmation letters, thank you letters. The marketing tools behind it, the reports, just really allow us to sort of dig deep and look really into who is this customer, where they are coming from, what's resonating with them, what are we doing right, what are we doing that could use some polishing. So, it's a really, really great tool, and honestly, at a fraction of cost of what most other GDS booking engine suppliers that we looked at, so that makes it even better. We are extremely thrilled with them. And again, like I said earlier, the fact that our representatives are here local, in the same city, just makes it that much more convenient for us. And, the level of service that we get - it's immediate, it's responsive. It just makes our lives so much easier."

And, of course, with the previous relationship with America's Best Franchising, the first person I thought of was Mark. And, we implemented his services at the Independents that we are operating - we actually owned them; owned and operated - and they did a fantastic job of assisting us with being successful in the realm of the CRO.<p>And, what I would voice as Mark’s company's best asset is their dedication to customer service, and that was really the reason that I was able to convince the owners here that this is the company that we should go with.<p>And, it was initially set out as a temporary arrangement to kinda get us over the hump, but it actually ended up being, at this point, over a year with each property, and their contribution numbers are equal - or probably better than - what we would've experienced if we were with one of the brands.<p>They allow us a lot of latitude as far as managing the particular properties on an individual basis, and they really know how to handle, not only brands, but their emphasis leans towards supporting the independent properties.<p>We’ve been very successful with. We have a downtown property that is, at this point still an independent, and they were formally a brand - I won’t mention the name of the brand - but the actual contribution once we moved over to Vertical Booking actually increased as opposed to when we were a branded hotel. It is a program with a very high number of sales channels that you can connect to all B2C and B2B channels that are active in the world and that you think you can get reservations from. It is very important and satisfying that you can get technical support from the Turkish sales team whenever you need it.
