Prophix builds solutions focused on fundamentally changing how finance professionals work from close and consolidation to planning, budgeting, and analysis. There are many providers in this space, but what sets the Prophix platform apart is the rapid time to value and ease of use allowing our customers to quickly see a return and step change improvement in their entire financial planning process.
Very easy to implement, use, and maintain software for budgeting, planning, and reporting. Makes budgeting and planning much more efficient, less error prone, and more collaborative than Excel. Makes planning and forecasting much faster - run scenarios and what-if analysis. Formal reporting, board reporting, management reporting, ad-hoc reporting, etc. all managed in one easy to use system.
I have known the Aptech team and their products for close to 20 years and worked with them on numerous projects. This product analyzes property level performance data enabling users to find multiple areas of improvement.
PVNG is an excellent solution that offers hotel accounting and financial management. They offer excellent customer service and great integrations with service partners. We are happy to work with their API's and team.
Aptech's accounting platform is an excellent choice for hospitality management groups. Their combination of business intelligence and budgeting and forecasting solutions give great insights, as well.

The primary competition would be using a tool like Excel. Excel is very error-prone, makes collaboration difficult, and leads to version/data control issues. Because this system keeps everything in one place with an effective workflow, it overcomes all of the Excel related barriers.
The Aptech team is extremely committed to product excellence and customer service. Their staff is experienced and responsive. Their products enable the highest level of strategic decision making in a user-friendly package.
The differentiating factor with Aptech is their dedicated focus on their customer. Our integration with Aptech is very differentiated from competition leaving users with a great integrated invoice API experience with Accounts Payable.
Aptech's solution is developed with hotels in mind, and can easily handle single or multi property accounting. The Aptech team is agile and works with company's requests. They work well with 3rd party partners in rounding out their accounting functionality.
