In my experience, I've known SHR to be on the forefront of developing innovative technology. Their Internet Booking Engine (IBE) is quite flexible from the front end to the back end. Recently, I had a sneak peak at Waves, their new Revenue Management System and I was very impressed with the extensive functionality and it's overall intuitiveness.

My recommendation would be to go ahead and ask someone at SHR to demo all of their solutions rather than just one in particular. This way you will have a better understanding of what key requirements can be met today and in the future if necessary.
