At the end of the pandemic, with the room occupancy growing in our new establishment, a way to easily control the workflow and efficiency in the main hotel departments like Housekeeping, Reception and Technicians was needed. Based on previous experience with Flexkeeping in a "sibling" hotel, and after researching some alternatives, we implemented the platform. - The setup and onboarding processes were very pleasant and quick. - The training manager ensured all the new users get to know the software well and the experienced ones understand the new features. - The integrations specialist was very professional and experienced, reacting instantly. Even after only a month using the platform, the results clearly show the usefulness of Flexkeeping and the optimized way of working. - The constant operations related phone calls are now very diminished, allowing the personnel to pay more attention to the guests and their needs. - Tracking of the cleanliness status of rooms, minibar and amenities usage, repair reporting and task assignments are easy to use and visible instantly to the right people, without additional hassle. Completion of “tickets” is observed by the heads of departments even outside of the work hours. - Cleaning tasks in the very busy common areas are managed more fluently, especially helping staff with hearing difficulties communicate easily. - Regular processes are being scheduled and tracked by their respective assignees and their managers. - Rare cases of app support requests are answered right away. - Guest feedback and satisfaction are more easily tracked via the available survey, helping with issue resolving and reputation improvement. Related costs are traced and analyzed when needed. - Room SOP’s are very useful for onboarding new workers. - The Manager on duty is extremely happy that the manager checklists are easy to share automatically with the other managers. - We are planning to use some of the functionality like reporting repairs and “Lost & Found” in other departments, too.
