M3 offers a complete hospitality-specific accounting software and service solution that equips lodging operators with a clear view of financial and operating performance to make informed, data-based decisions faster.
We work with a lot of hotels that use a myriad of financial software - for many clients, what should be very easily accessible information takes hours and the help of a tech team. Not the case with clients using M3 - they are always organized, everything is at their fingertips, and it leads to a much smoother project.
It allows the hotel to focus on running the hotel, taking care of their guests and eliminates the need to process multiple daily and monthly routine accounting tasks. By outsourcing these daily tasks the hotel can save on labor costs as well.
We have a strategic partnership with M3. I can't speak to the finer points of the product, but the culture and employees at M3 are A+. They truly care about their customers success and well being. From a partnership perspective, their team has been fantastic to work with in aligning our respective products to work in a way that serves our joint customers.

The drastic difference is that M3 only works with hotel groups, so everything is already optimized for the hospitality industry. Plus, because the majority of their staff also comes from the industry, any "troubleshooting" is second nature.
The ability to protect vendor payments from fraud by paying 100% electronically. Payment fraud is the most likely form of fraud in the hotel industry. Clients that use M3 Accounting Core can eliminate the use of their bank accounts and not share routing or account information in the public domain therefore significantly mitigating the opportunity payment fraud.
The people and a very hyper focus on serving the hospitality space. You know from the moment you walk into their office, they are committed from the top down to serving their customers to the best they possibly can with a smile on the face. The passion for their customers comes through in every experience we have with them. It's a big part of what attracted us to getting into a strategic alliance with them.
